Apply today!About the roleReworld is looking for a Senior Director of Technical Operations to join the IT organization. The Senior Director reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for leading all IT operations and information security functions. Reworld IT are aggressively pursuing a cloud-first, services-first, BYOD approach to providing Services to the corporation. This position will require a high degree of innovation and conceptualization to drive IT toward this goal, while enabling business agility, and value. Most importantly, the Senior Director needs to lead the organization in defining the needs of a new capability and orchestrating the actions to implement the new capability.Reporting to: CIOSchedule: Hybrid (3 days in office 2 days from home)Reworld IT leverage partners to deliver Services, and the Senior Director will be directly responsible for building a relationship with these critical partners, evaluating their performance, and modifying the Services to ensure maximum value for Reworld.The Senior Director also works with the CIO and his IT Leadership team as new capabilities are identified and planned to be implemented.Accountabilities:

• Define and Lead efforts to implement technologies moving Reworld IT closer to its Technology Vision
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with the suppliers of infrastructure services including participation in customer advisory boards to ensure we are leveraging our vendors' services to the highest extent
• Develop, monitor, and control a budget for the infrastructure services, which balances low cost, business needs, and technology currency.
• Ensure vendors are meeting their performance and cost commitments
• Continually develops or improves all enterprise architectural domains of applications, data, network, and infrastructure.
• Manage and prioritize IT operations, including system administration, network management, help desk support, and software/hardware procurement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment and integration of IT solutions, minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Drive incident management and problem resolution processes, ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues and minimizing downtime.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services, implementing appropriate monitoring and maintenance practices.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance, data integrity, and disaster recovery capabilities.Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Engineering, Master's degree helpful
  • 15 years of Information Technology experience with at least 5 years in managing cross-functional teams, projects, and technology initiatives and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of enterprise architecture strategies in data, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Detailed knowledge of modern technologies in cloud computing (AWS, Azure), WAN/LAN, client computing, IT controls, risk management, and cybersecurity
  • Strong leadership, influencing, communications, and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage external vendors
  • Ability to make decisions with many complex inputs
