Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking dedicated Packaging 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift to join their dynamic team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be an integral part of the production process, supporting the packaging department to ensure efficient, high-quality output. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Packaging Location: Bohemia, NY Pay Range: $18.25-$21.25 Shift: 1 st shift 7:00AM-3:30PM Mon-Fri 2 nd shift 3:00PM- 11:30PM Mon-Fri 3 rd shift 11:00PM-7:30AM Sun- Thurs Duration: 1 month What's the Job? Support the team to maintain adequate supplies of materials for the assigned production run Ensure materials are replenished to prevent shortages and report low levels, damages, or inconsistencies promptly Assemble and fold cardboard components as part of the packaging process Carefully arrange products into trays and stack them onto pallets for shipping Wrap products, trays, and cartons with plastic to ensure proper protection and stability, utilizing manual or machine methods What's Needed? 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment preferred High school diploma or GED - Required Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to follow safety procedures, including company safety standards Ability to speak, read, write in English and understand simple instructions What's in it for me?
