Description Atlantic Health System is Seeking a PerDiem Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiac Access Unit at Morristown Medical Center. Our Atlantic Health System Heart Care team at the Cardiac Access Unit is dedicated to the care for patients who will undergo surgeries or cardiac procedures. This specialized 28-bed unit is located in Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute at Morristown Medical Center. The primary role of the Nurse Practitioner is to work collaboratively with a robust Heart Care team and is expected to manage, supervise, and support the patients in the Cardiac Access, Cardiac Extended and Cardiac Observation units. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and previous experience in a fast-paced practice, hospital service or with stress testing environment. Qualifications Master’s degree required NP License in NJ required ACLS, PALS, and BLS required Minimum of 2 years of NP experience is required Cardiology experience is preferred Experience in stress testing supervision is preferred Must have excellent communication and computer skills Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive Malpractice Policy Full reimbursement for Boards and Licensing fees Outstanding growth & mentorship opportunities
