Description Morristown Medical Center's Registered Nurse Periop
Fellowship Residency Program is one year focused on building a
solid foundation for your Operating Room nursing career. The
program is integrated with AORN’s Periop 101 program which features
online courses, instructor-led classes and a skills lab. This is
followed by a 6-month rotation in both the Scrub and Circulator
Nurse role. A Periop 101 certificate with 40 continuing education
credits will be awarded after successful completion of modules and
final exam. This cohort will begin June 15 2026 Entry level offer
rate is $43.00 / hour Program criteria: Non-BSN graduates will be
required to complete their BSN within 5 years of employment All
participants are asked to agree to a 2-year employment commitment
at Atlantic Health System An official transcript and two letters of
recommendation from nursing instructors will be required once you
are in the interview process Qualifications Education: Graduate of
an accredited Nurse Program required BSN or equivalent preferred
All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their
start date License/Certification: A valid NJ Nursing License or a
valid Compact Nursing License required upon hire BLS certification
required
