Job Description:
Description The selected Nurse Practitioner will perform Stress
Tests, Pharmacological and Exercise testing , including Nuclear.
The Nurse Practitioner will also assist with general patient care
in Non-Invasive Cardiology. This is an autonomous role working
alongside the Cardiologists. Principal Accountabilities : 1.
Provides new patient consultation and reviews health history 2.
Performs physical examinations and screening on the patients. 3.
Provides after-care/ongoing care information and resources to
patients and their families. 4. Ensures patient records are
maintained including test results, immunizations, condition
changes. 5. Delivers quality, physician-level care while complying
with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity
metrics. 6. Recommends further treatment options or future
appointments if required. 7. Performs diagnoses health problems and
provides medications. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner
program Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
ACLS and BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of Cardiology
experience in an Acute Care setting is preferred Cardiac stress
testing experience preferred Must have excellent communication and
computer skills Strong work ethic and a team player who can work
