Job Description:
Description Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse
First Assists (RNFA) at Newton Medical Center . We are seeking per
diem candidates (can be a new grad RNFA) who would like to be
on-call (can be at home-within 30 minutes of hospital or in on-call
room at the hospital-you choose) one weekend per month - 48 hours
and availability for 4 weekday on call shifts per month. Earn top

Functions/Responsibilities: Candidate will have the ability to
utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement
and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the
model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the
health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care
within a healing culture for the patient population served and
their families. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE

Excellence) in every aspect of their job. Candidate must have
excellent communication and computer skills. Will assist with
surgical cases including orthopedics and general surgery. Relevant
Experience: 1 year of previous experience is a plus Must be
qualified to be credentialed by the Medical Staff Office. Ability
to scrub/assist in all specialties as assigned. Must have the
ability to stand for long periods of time, push pull and lift at
least 25 pounds. Must be a Team Player. Candidate must have
excellent communication and computer skills. Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Program required, BSN required
Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required BLS/ACLS required
Certificate from an accredited RNFA program required CNOR
preferred
