On-Site | Full-Time | 8am-4:30pm EST What You’ll Do As a Lead
Health Information Specialist (LHIS) , you will play a critical
role in supporting daily operations and ensuring the accuracy,
compliance, and timely delivery of medical information. This role
combines hands-on Release of Information (ROI) work with leadership
support, training, and team coordination. Key responsibilities
include: Providing call support and assisting with ROI-related
inquiries Processing medical record requests accurately and
confidentially in compliance with HIPAA Assisting the Supervisor
with inventory management, including Healthsource queue oversight
and prioritization of urgent requests Serving as a subject-matter
resource for team members on ROI workflows, EMR navigation, SOPs,
and best practices Supporting client and internal escalations with
timely follow-up and clear communication Assisting with training
and onboarding of new hires, including mentoring and coaching
Facilitating team training sessions and ongoing education to
reinforce compliance and quality standards Performing data entry,
faxing, scanning, and other administrative duties as needed
Maintaining professionalism and effective communication with
patients, providers, and clinical staff Supporting overall team
productivity and quality goals Requirements High School Diploma or
GED Ability to work on-site daily in Elizabeth, NJ Willingness and
ability to travel locally on a weekly basis as needed Prior
experience in healthcare, medical records, HIM, or Release of
Information (ROI) required Supervisory or lead experience strongly
preferred Proficiency with computers, email systems, and standard
office equipment Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient
confidentiality requirements Ability to handle sensitive
information with discretion and professionalism ? What We’re

first 30 days Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on
location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other
requirements of the role. The estimated base pay range per hour for
this role is: $17.19 - $23.68 USD To ensure the safety of patients
and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings
and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu
shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these
