Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Newark, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,792 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN – New Jersey Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Newark, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday), 12-hour shifts Highlights: 19-bed Pediatric ICU with patient ratios of 1:2 (may include 1:1 for higher acuity) Diverse case mix including cardiac patients, medtronic pacemakers, telemetry monitoring, and complex respiratory support EPIC charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and physical therapy May float to Pediatrics and NICU based on appropriate skill set and hospital needs Previous cardiac experience strongly preferred; focus on BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, and trach management Opportunities to work with advanced equipment including external ventricular drains, ICP monitoring, and procedural sedation Requirements: Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of PICU critical care experience required; 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred EPIC charting experience required Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring, medtronic pacemakers, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy care Must be willing to float within skill set to appropriate assignments in Pediatrics and NICU as needed Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays during assignment period Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to provide critical care to pediatric patients in a dynamic and well-supported environment.
