Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 6 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Radiation Therapist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule AM Shift: 8a - 4p Job Description The Radiation Therapist accurately delivers planned courses of radiation therapy while operating treatment units with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining patient communication during treatment, performing daily linac and CT QA, and executing advanced treatment techniques. Responsibilities - Accurately CT/simulate patients for radiation therapy following departmental protocols. - Construct immobilization devices and use IV contrast for simulation as needed. - Perform respiratory gating and SBRT simulations effectively. - Train therapy team in CT/simulation and maintain critical departmental documentation. - Manage daily treatment schedules within the MOSAIQ system while adhering to safety standards. - Safely operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery and perform relevant assessments in MOSAIQ. - Maintain accurate records of daily treatments and prescription adjustments. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Successful completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy. - ARRT certified and registered. Why ARMStaffing?
