Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Watchung, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at a Prestigious Surgery Center in Watchung, New Jersey. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 7am - 3:30pm /n - Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures. /n - Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy. /n - Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed. /n - Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques. /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program. /n - Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) /n - BLS preferred (American Heart Association). /n - 2 year of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
