providing excellent patient care. Position: Full-Time Medical
Director – Psychiatrist- Hybrid Schedule Pay Range: $200.00-$220.00
an hour Location: Scranton, PA / Remote Why Join Our Team? This

office to provide in-person supervision to clinical staff, while

have clinical autonomy, work with a supportive multidisciplinary
team, and face fewer emergencies, all while making a meaningful
impact in the community. Education and Experience Requirements: -
Doctor of Medicine - Board-Certified and licensed in the
Commonwealth of PA - At least three years of residency in
psychiatry - DEA license or credentials to apply for a DEA license
Administrative & Supervisory Responsibilities: - Provide
consultative and supervisory guidance to all clinical staff,
including Certified Physician Assistants (C-PA), Certified
Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNP), Mental Health Workers, and
additional staff as needed. - Serve as the approving medical expert
in establishing appropriate standards for treatment protocols,
testing, and medication prescribing practices. - Contribute to the
practice’s quality management process. - Participate in clinical
staff meetings at least twice per month. - Establish collaborative
agreement(s) with the state and mid-level providers in the
practice. - Host student interns/fellowships. Essential Functions:
- Ensure compliance in outpatient mental health programs. -
Diagnose, treat, and conduct screenings for mental illnesses for
individuals from early childhood to elder ages. - Complete
evaluations for school/work return and risk assessments. -
Prescribe and document medications per treatment plans and
regulations. - Order treatment for mental health programs (e.g.,
family-based, case management). - Collaborate with the treatment
team, review, approve, and sign treatment plans. - Maintain
thorough records, adhering to ethical and HIPAA standards. -
Coordinate care with external health providers and educational
institutions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and
respect - Critical evaluation and assessment skills - Knowledge of
DSM-V-TR and a commitment to ethical standards - Proficiency in
electronic health record systems and Microsoft 365 or similar
