This individual will understand business priorities, demonstrate excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, and can excel in a fast-paced environment. They will also ensure corporate reputation, confidentiality and brand standards are consistently upheld. They will report to the Director, Global Executive Communications. You will be responsible for:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of the CEO's proactive communications plan (including speaker events, employee communications, and social media) to advance Johnson & Johnson's reputation and brand with key audiences.
  • Work with business partners to create best-in-class, strategic thought leadership communications for the CEO.
  • Research and analyze incoming communication requests and lead creative development of key projects, including for example, the Annual Shareholder Meeting.
  • Set and manage project deadlines in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinate across Enterprise teams to implement initiatives, including Employee and Executive Communications, Strategic Response, Human Resources, Corporate Equity, Government Affairs & Policy, Media Relations, Investor Relations and our Innovative Medicine and MedTech businesses.
  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor to senior managers, and as a member of the Enterprise Executive Communications and External Engagement Team.
  • Develop scripts, talk tracks, presentations, videos, and digital media, as required.
  • Measure program effectiveness against benchmarks to continuously evolve and strengthen impact in support of Company goals and priorities.Qualifications/Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, brand communications, employee communications or related field
    • Experience working in a matrixed environment
    • Excellent writing, editing, and critical thinking skills
    • Experience partnering with subject matter experts across a wide range of topics to distill complex information and create compelling narratives
    • Able to prioritize multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
    • Familiar with and comfortable using AI and digital technology (i.e., Smartsheet, Airtable) to support job responsibilities
    • Detail oriented with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget

Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
