A GRADE Property Restoration is one of New Jersey's leading Fire,
Water, Storm property repair contractors. Serving the Tri-State
area, we are a full-service restoration company licensed and
certified by the IICRC for mold, asbestos abatement, fire, smoke,
and water damage repairs. From trees crashing through houses, large
residential fires, removing asbestos shingle siding to burst water
lines, we are experts at dealing with insurance companies and
getting the property owners the funds needed to make repairs.
Do you have a passion for helping people rebuild in their time of
need? A GRADE Property Restoration is looking for an experienced
residential and commercial construction Senior Project Manager.
Must have 5+ years of construction management related experience
with ability to supervise projects from start to finish. The person
in this role will be expected to train, hire, and supervise other
Project Managers, Jr. Project Managers and Field Technicians. The
position is based in Ledgewood, NJ and will require travel
throughout NJ and the tri-state area.
MANDATORY criteria for this position beyond seasoned residential
construction project management:
Strong proficiency in project management software
Solid computer skills and high-level comfort learning/using new
technologies
Expertise in using Xactimate software to write large loss
estimates
Stamina to adapt to the dynamic and fast-paced nature of insurance
restoration industry
Extensive experience in managing insurance claim restoration
projects
In-depth understanding of the insurance claim restoration process
and involvement in claims negotiations with insurance carriers
Responsibilities will include:
Oversee production of reconstruction projects from contract through
close out
100% accountability for the successful completion of construction
projects & take ownership of the role to maintain efficient time
management to prioritize workflow
Supervision of subcontractors which may include retention of
subcontractors, bidding work to subcontractors as well as
termination of subcontractors off job sites
Close out jobs and schedule subcontractor walk through for quality
control
Approve sub-contractor payments, working with the Production
Manager and Bookkeeper to send accurate and timely invoices to
clients
Attend client Kick Off and Game Plan meetings to oversee material
selections, review budget and production timeline
Meetings with clients - respond to customer inquiries and concerns
regarding the reconstruction process via phone, email, and text
message in a timely manner
Facilitate resolution of customer concerns while upholding the
company's reputation
Prepare client change orders, insurance supplements, sub-contractor
agreements and other project related documentation based on scope,
pricing, and payment plan as per Owner or Department Manager
Manage communications with A GRADE, insured, insured's bank and
insurance carrier/adjuster
Coordinate emergency service board ups of fire damaged homes
Assist estimators as needed including creating floorplans, taking
photos, and scope notes, kitchen layouts, and preparing material
orders
Ensure long lead time materials are ordered in advance by
subcontractor
Data entry and electronic communication tasks - Manage, oversee,
and make entries into project tracking software to include, but not
limited to daily job notes, photos, scheduling, client change
orders, and insurance supplements (BuilderTrend & Encircle)
Send out documents for e-signature, track and follow-up on status
to secure all necessary signatures; Ensure all signed files are
saved in project folders
Prepare construction related zoning and building permit
applications. Follow-up with town Construction Departments on
permit status, fees and schedule inspections
Recruit sub-contractors to work on insurance related
re-construction projects. Obtain all necessary sub-contractor
documents for newly vetted sub-contractors. Keep Certificates of
Insurance records up-to-date and filed
Assist sales teams as needed - meeting potential clients, attending
events
Contact insurance adjusters throughout the insurance claim process
to facilitate all information has been submitted for timely payouts
to be made
Create and present reports, attend weekly production meetings
Other duties as assigned to you by Owners
Follow all Company Policies and Procedures, and submit applicable
reports to Customers, Production Manager, Accounting and/or
Leadership Team
You will need:
10+ years of experience in project management, construction, or
relevant fields
Computer proficient with working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook,
Word, Excel)
Experience with Xactimate Estimating program REQUIRED
Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
Must have excellent planning and communication skills
Ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a team, and
open to accepting direction when needed
Experience in Residential and Commercial construction required with
knowledge of interior and exterior building envelope construction
and building code
Experience with GANTT Production Schedules a plus
References for ability to complete projects to high levels of
client satisfaction
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb a ladder
Valid NJ driver's license with clean driving record A MUST!
Be willing to have a background check and be legal to work in the
United States

Schedule:
Monday to Friday (start time 8 AM with 1-hour unpaid lunch
break)
Emergency, After-Hours & Weekend availability as needed
