Job Description Job Description Job Title: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Salem, Oregon Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5 - onsite schedule Compensation: up to 62k per year We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support daily accounting operations for a well-established organization in Salem. This onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of AP, AR, and general accounting support in a collaborative environment. This is an amazing opportunity to join a well established company and team. In this role, you will: Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, coding, vendor communication, and payment processing. Handle Accounts Receivable tasks such as invoicing, cash applications, payment posting, and light collections follow-up. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and assist with general ledger maintenance. Maintain organized, accurate accounting files and documentation Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies, vendor issues, and customer account questions. To be a fit, you must have: 1-3 years of hands-on AP and/or AR experience. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software (willing to learn new systems). Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, reconciliations). Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
