Job Description:

The Accountant is responsible for managing all financial and accounting aspects of the White Meadow Lake Property Owners Association (not for profit) and White Meadow Lake Country Club (for profit). Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding and processiing payments Perform account receiveable functions including deposits, invoicing, collections and revenue recognition Conduct month end procedures, including updated reporting, posted cash receipts, adjustment report, posted charge report and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly report of payables, receivables, payroll, and any journal entries necessary for the general ledger and trial balance. Post monthly activity to the general ledger. Prepare monthly budget analysis, Treasurer's Report and Cash Summary for Board of Director meetings. Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner Prepare tax filing documents (forms 1099, 1096) Assist Auditors with year end audit Requirements include Expert skils in QuickBooks and Excel Enumerate (TOPS) knowledge preferred but not required Strong understanding of general accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Bachelor's Degree in accounting or similar field Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
