Job Description:
Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role
of Systems Administrator Level 1. Candidates will be considered
that demonstrate the ability in mastering the following
responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
--- Administration of on prem Microsoft Exchange 2019. Maintaining
user accounts and storage utilization analysis.
--- Administer Microsoft Skype for Business 2019.
--- Familiar with Mimecast cloud hosted spam filter
application.
--- 2+ years of administration experience for Windows Server(s)
2012/2016/2019/2022
--- 2+ years knowledge of Windows 2019 Active Directory domain
structures and user administration, groups, roles, and
permissions
--- Prior experience with VMware Carbon Black Cloud deployment and
protection applications.
--- Monitor storage utilization in accordance with standards and
project/operational requirements.
--- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and
availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key
business processes, reviewing system and application logs, and
verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
--- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
--- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis using WSUS for
both Servers and Workstations.
--- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
--- Maintain operational, configuration, or other documented
procedures.
--- Understanding and monitoring of common backup / restore
procedures and disaster recovery protocols.
--- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
--- Excellent ability to troubleshoot and solve issues and meeting
deadlines.
Skill Requirements: The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven
skills in the following areas and have confidence in the monitoring
of 70+ windows and Linux based servers running a mix of server
operating systems and applications.
Requirements:
--- Demonstrated ability in configuring and maintaining Active
Directory and Group Policies.
--- Demonstrated ability in configuring and maintaining Microsoft
Windows Deployment Services (WDS) to deploy applications.
--- Familiar with on-prem Microsoft Exchange Server 2019.
--- Implementation experience with Dell SonicWall NSA 4600 security
appliance
--- Microsoft SQL server monitoring, performance and database
management.
--- Demonstrated ability to image laptops and desktops.
--- File server(s), shared folders, AD security and security
groups.
--- Helpdesk support for SA related requests and issues (Zendesk)
This position requires rotating holiday, weekend and weekday
on-call availability
