make an impact:The Staff Product Manager - Automotive will be
responsible for the product roadmap, and execution of SiriusXM's
automotive middleware and application for Android Automotive
Operating System throughout the audio products' lifecycle,
including gathering, defining, and prioritizing requirements from
internal stakeholders and automotive OEM partners. The Staff
Product Manager will collaborate closely with the SiriusXM User
Experience Design team, Engineering and Technology, Quality
Assurance, Marketing, Programming, Legal, and other corporate
stakeholders to clearly communicate and document the features,
requirements, and product status for the automotive audio
application and middleware programs.What you'll do: Subject matter
expert for automotive audio product features and functionality to
support the assigned productsWork with internal automotive SiriusXM
teams to define and create new automotive audio feature
requirements where neededWork with SiriusXM teams to ensure product
readiness for target launch datesWork with SiriusXM teams to define
the roadmap and enhancements for the automotive application and
middleware programs Work with SXM OEM Product and Engineering teams
to ensure that new and/or adjusted feature requirements are
prioritized and implemented Generate and utilize periodic reports
of customer metrics for analysis to make recommendations for new
features and existing feature refinement for OEM
applicationsProvide status updates on project progress to SiriusXM
management as required, including in-vehicle or test bench demos of
product features and functionality Perform other duties as
assignedWhat you'll need:BS/BA in Business, Marketing or
Engineering or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred7+ years of
experience of product management4+ years of experience working with
automotive OEMs3+ years of experience working with software2+ years
of experience working in an Agile environment (preferred)Thorough
knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite
(Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)Ability to create
effective presentationsExperience with using JIRA including user
story creation and bug trackingKnowledge of iOS and Android mobile
applications and/or general software development
(preferred)Experience with Acrobat and Figma Excellent time
management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask,
and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong
blend of product management and technical aptitudeBroad-based
understanding of the automotive industry, new technologies and
industry trendsExperience with projects utilizing Agile development
methodsExperience with creation of requirements and user stories
for inclusion in development sprintsInterpersonal skills and
ability to interact and work with stakeholders and at all
levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to
work independently and in a team environment.Ability to pay
attention to details and be organized.Ability to project
professionalism over the web, phone and in person.Willingness to
take initiative and to follow through on projects.Domestic travel
to OEMs and SiriusXM office locations.Valid US Driver's License and
willingness to drive SiriusXM and Automotive Partner test vehicles
as required.Must have legal right to work in the U.S.At SiriusXM,
we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining
compensation, including your background and experience. These
considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the
base salary for this position to be in -the range of $128,100 to
$193,500 -and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and
experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for
discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all
